The Dining Room

Due to Covid restrictions at present we are not able to offer breakfast or evening meals.

What makes The Bridge Street Historic Guest House that little bit extra special is our home cooked hearty fare, that we serve daily. A traditional English breakfast with all the trimmings comes with every room booking. Lynette also loves cooking traditional evening meals such as shepherd’s pie, stews and pies and you can enjoy these in the dining room, on the patio or by the brook if the weather’s good.

Evening meals consist of 2 courses and can be served with Terry’s complimentary homemade wine.

The Garden

A stunning natural stream runs through our garden and this attracts some wonderful wildlife including kingfishers, egret, heron and many other native birds. There is abundant seating in our garden and it is a warm, lovely place when the sun is shining and the birds are chirping.

Testimonials:

“We stayed for 2 nights and can honestly say Terry and Lynette were the most charming and friendly hosts we have ever met. The cottage is a perfect place to stay and the breakfasts were perfect, served by Yvette their daughter. We would wholeheartedly recommend Bridge Street Historic Guest House to anybody.”
